-To regularly participate in the life of Corinth Baptist Church by attending the weekly gathering, engaging in gospel-centered community, participating in believer’s baptism after conversion, partaking of the Lord’s supper, and serving those within and outside of this church (Acts 2:42-47; Hebrews 10:23-25; Titus 3:14).

-To submit to the Pastors and other appointed leaders knowing they have been called to see you through from immaturity to maturity and for which they will give an account (Hebrews 13: 17).

-To avoid sinful behavior as the Bible dictates and to avoid that which the Bible deems foolish (Galatians 5:16-24; Hebrews 12:1).

-To give generously of my time, talents, and treasures, seeking to serve and by doing so, love my neighbor (2 Corinthians 8-9).

-To strive for unity in His church and in doing so avoid gossip, slander, and retribution (Romans 14:19; James 1:26; Proverbs 26:20).

  • Seeking guided reconciliation before pursuing divorce,

  • Abstaining from sexually immoral practices such as adultery, premarital sex, and pornography (1 Thessalonians 4:3).

-To do the following when I do sin:

  • To confess to God, fellow believers, and

  • To repent and have others hold me accountable (James 5:16).

-To submit to the discipline of God through His Holy Spirit by:

  • Following the biblical procedures for church discipline where sin is evident in another as expressed in Scripture, the hope of such discipline being confession, repentance, and restoration (Matthew 18:15-20; 1 Corinthians 5:9-13; 2 Corinthians 2:5-11).

  • Receiving righteous and loving discipline when approached biblically by fellow believers.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all. Amen.
