Family Discipleship Milestones are one of the ways Corinth seeks to equip families for the work of ministry and to raise up spiritually mature families. We believe parents are primary disciple makers of their kids. However, many parents feel ill-equipped when it comes to this task. Our FDMs are designed to come along side of parents during important milestones in their kids' formation and assist in strategic and practical ways. Each of these Milestone Seminars will be offered at least once a year.

Newborn: Child Dedication

Seminar: May 12, 2024 - 9:30am          Child Dedication: 10:45am Worship Service

This seminar celebrates the joy of God's provision of a new life and seeks to walk parents through the important steps of laying a spiritual foundation in these early years. This seminar coincides with our Child Dedication as we ask parents to formally commit themselves before God in bringing up their child under the instruction of Jesus, as well as our Church commitment to help the parent(s) in accomplishing that task.

Grade 1: Bible Foundations

Seminar: TBD

This seminar is designed to equip parents to have gospel conversations with their kids. As kids begin to learn to read, we also instruct parents in simple ways to help their kids understand and navigate Bible reading. During the seminar, parents are given a Bible for their child, to equip and empower them the intake of God’s Word.

Grade 5: Passport to Purity

Seminar: April 28, 2024 - 9:30am

This seminar is designed to help equip parents to have the difficult conversations with their kids about middle school, peer pressure, and sex. Passport to Purity is a valuable resource that makes this process simple and impactful. This seminar will walk each parent through their role and how to plan for this important topic.

Grade 7: Guardrail Guide

Seminar: TBD

This seminar is designed to equip the parent to deal with the changing role they play in their student's development. This will also cover new issues from increased responsibility for their student, technology and its impact, how to address pornography, jobs, dating, extra-curricular activities, and more. As the landscape toward maturation changes for your student, this seminar will help you prepare for the new, awaiting challenges.

Grade 12: Rite of Passage
